About Me

I was born in Cincinnati, OH and though my distinctive, little voice still causes folks to assume I am a Midwest gal, I grew up in the suburbs of Seattle. From the start I was a little chatty-kathy & often referred to as a miniature walking radio.

I moved from the tiny world of Mercer Island to the Land of La La with a dream to pursue acting. I graduated from the University of Southern California with degrees in Theatre & Musical Theatre (and my parents crossed their fingers hoping I would simply make ends meet). Luckily, I emerged from USC ready to take on the world – one crazy project at a time.

As a young mommy and working performer in crazy LA, I kept my sanity by surrounding myself with other interesting, funny and feisty ladies. During my years in Los Angeles, I worked as an actress (film, tv & commercials), host, voiceover artist (commercial & animation), dance instructor, recording artist and songwriter. I co-wrote & recorded two children’s music albums, and co-hosted “The Heidi & Lenser Show,” a podcast for females, for over a year.

In life and work, I have a habit of dishing entertainment, celebrity gossip, politics, news, relationships, kids, fashion, travel – nothing is off limits. And since I make an effort to not give unsolicited advice to other moms, my homegrown blog “The Lindsay List” is the perfect place for me to share all the tools, tips, gripes and experiences that are bursting to escape!

I am happily married to a smart, talented and handsome young man who supports all of my insane endeavors with a smile & by helping to take care of our manic little redhead and our newest little addition. We are vegetarians (that "flirt" with vegan recipes) & even though my husband is agnostic/atheist, we consider our home a Jewish one. We're both so thrilled to be back in the Pacific Northwest and can't wait to take many walks in the rain. In the meantime, I'll work hard to share and commiserate with all the struggling mamas and papas out there standing in the aisles of Babies 'R Us thinking, "What the...?" I plan to dish on all topics, so folks without kids needn't fret...but I warn you, it's all through my eyes as a young, formerly Hollywood-adjacent, mommy!
